Tim Hagerty is currently the broadcaster for the Tucson Padres (San Diego Padres Triple-A affiliate).
Before Tucson, Tim was a radio broadcaster for the Triple-A Portland Beavers from 2007-2010 and the broadcaster for the Double-A Mobile BayBears (San Diego Padres affiliate) from 2005-2007. He began his professional baseball broadcasting career with the Idaho Falls Chukars (Kansas City Royals affiliate) in 2004. While with the Royals affiliate, Hagerty made his Major League broadcasting debut, joining Kansas City's radio broadcast for a game in September against Tampa Bay.
In the off-season, Hagerty is a freelance reporter for Fox Sports Radio and Sporting News Radio, providing national, on-air updates from college football and basketball games. The Canton, MA native was selected to broadcast two Double-A All-Star Games, and called the 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game on Westwood One.
His sports broadcasting work has been honored with both national and regional Edward R. Murrow awards, the Alabama Associated Press, Mobile Press Club, Idaho State Broadcasters Association, Idaho Press Club, Vermont Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists.
